Black women are still ridiculed for our shapes/figures we are born with, we are still being sexualized and looked at as nothing but a piece of meat​!

With our own natural glow and beautiful pigments of cocoa. We believe that our skin is "created of brown sugar and warm honey." You don't need a reason or a certain season to show love and appreciation to who you are. You don't need a special someone or special occasion to walk elegantly, feeling like your highest self. The purpose of our brand is to encourage and increase our love/appreciation for ourselves and our Melanin skin.  "Bare Melanin" has the desire to simplify show us the true meaning of self love while increasing our access to affordable lingerie, so you can focus on why you’re wearing it in the first place. "Bare Melanin" sets out to offer an alternative in an industry that has always measured a woman by her color and size, an industry that requires you to buy a size up or down if your body changes.
